Moscatel las Cruces SC

Three butts that were removed from the Moscatel Emilín solera more than 25 years ago seeking a very old Moscatel in which the classic floral and citrus notes of these wines would evolve.

A wine which has had no “sacas” since Lustau moved to the current premises on Arcos street in 2004. During these twelve years, losses have been replenished from a Moscatel Viejo cask.

Very dark mahogany colour with iodine hues. Tertiary aromas dominate the nose with notes of molasses and very ripe fruit underscored with balsamic hints. Surprisingly fresh in the mouth. Notes of toasted caramel and sweet wood with a light bitter touch at the end. Its freshness gives it a sensation of weightlessness and a very attractive sweetness.
